🍕 Margherita Pizza: the scale and the servings did not match
🔧 How we fixed it (October 21, 2026): the Servings counter was reading the first number on the page, the 20 minutes of prep time, as the servings. It now reads the real Serves line, so ½× of “serves 3 to 4” shows 2 servings, and ingredient words switch between singular and plural as they scale: “1 small garlic clove” ✅. 🚨 The problem
The recipe serves 3 to 4 people, but set the scale to ½× and the Servings counter showed 10. The ingredients had a grammar bug too: “1 small garlic cloves”
👀 What she saw
- 🔢 Scale set to ½×, but the Servings counter showed 10
- 🍽️ The header says it serves 3 to 4, so half of that should be about 2
- ✍️ Ingredient wording did not adjust when scaled: “1 small garlic cloves” (should be “clove”)
🎯 What it should do
Servings change together with the scale, and ingredient wording stays grammatically correct at every size.
