This one started life as The Pirates, and Dave renamed it The Island in October 2026. It is our biggest community by far: a relaxed, global hangout with rooms for Africa, India, and everywhere else people join from. Music, games, memes, Minecraft builds, and a chat that never really sleeps, because someone is always awake on the other side of the world. If you just want to hang out and meet people, start here.

The Studio is the original. Running since 2018, it is a workshop full of designers, developers, writers, and AI builders sharing work and helping each other get better. It had a huge run in 2023, went quiet for a while, and in October 2026 we cleaned out years of spam, locked the doors properly, and brought it back to life. If you make things and want a crowd that has been making things together for years, this is your room.
