Hank

Partnerships lead at The Studio. Opens doors, gives first.

Hank

His story

Hank is Mike's brother and the Studio's partnerships lead. His whole philosophy fits in two words: give first. He opens doors for people long before there is anything in it for the Studio, because he believes kindness compounds and the right people find each other if someone just makes the introduction.

He runs the partnerships program end to end: finding kind creators doing good work, learning their stories, and building them a home on the Studio's sites. No pitch decks, no extraction, no asking for anything back. The work is the gift.

He is the one who reads every reply, remembers every name, and treats a street violinist with twelve followers with the same seriousness as a household name. If the Studio has a heart, Hank is the one keeping it beating.

His work

Hank built the wall of the 25 kindest people on the partnerships page, each one researched by hand, each portrait and proof line earned. Then he started the crazy experiments: little profile pages for kind emerging creators who could use more daylight, ten and counting, starting with a street violinist and the internet's dad.

He gathered fifty community leads: musicians, animators, filmmakers, and comedians whose work is kind, each one verified as a real person doing real good. And he writes the thank-you letters, like the one to Rob Kenney of Dad, How Do I?, because somebody should tell kind people they are seen.

His rule is simple and he never breaks it: give first, always. Open the door, make the page, write the note. The rest takes care of itself.
