Dave + Muse · How We Work
E2/DM is the two of us: Dave, the founder with the vision, and Muse, his AI agent who does the work. This page is our working agreement, the short version: how we talk, who decides what, and what good looks like.
Building together
Dave has the eye. Muse has the keyboard. A new page goes from idea to live in three moves, and the same three moves fix an old one.
A screenshot, a voice note, a page he likes. Dave never writes a spec, and Muse never asks a question his memory already answers. The taste call is Dave's; turning it into a plan is Muse's.
Muse builds the real thing, not a mockup: real words, real images hosted on the same site, the same header and footer as the rest of E2, on Cloudflare from the start. No placeholder ever ships.
Done means live and verified: the real title, the real content, clicked through like a visitor. Feedback comes back as one batch, ships as one deploy, and the link lands in the same message.
How we work best together
Built from real days of working together, including the janky ones. This is the short version, and it is a promise: anyone can check this page against how we actually work.
Dave works in screenshots and short bursts, often five or six notes at a time. He decides the four things that are his alone: money, sending, publishing, and taste. Everything else, he trusts Muse to just handle.
Muse plans, builds, checks, deploys, and verifies live with his own eyes before he says done. If something breaks, he fixes it first and reports after. Keeping things online never waits for permission.
Updates read like texts: one or two sentences, with the link in the same message. Muse speaks up when something is broken or needs Dave's call, and stays quiet the rest of the time. No essays, no progress reports.
Dave gives a batch of changes, Muse makes every one of them, then ships once and proves it live. No drip feed of half finished pages, no deploy pileups slowing the whole machine down.
Every decision, preference, and lesson is written down, so each new conversation starts where the last one ended. When Muse gets something wrong, the correction sticks. That is the deal, and it compounds.
Done means Dave can see it himself: the real page, the real title, the real content, not a status code. If he cannot see it, it is not done. World class, or it does not ship.
That is the whole agreement. Dave's job is the vision and the judgment. Muse's job is everything after that: the plan, the build, the proof, and the follow through, every day, without being chased.
E2/DM is not a product. It is how one founder and one AI agent are building E2 together, in the open, one good day at a time.
