E2 Remarketing
People drift. We go get them, kindly.
Members rarely leave E2 because they dislike it here. They get busy, life happens, and one quiet week quietly becomes a month. This is our plan for noticing that early and pulling people back in with personal, human check-ins, never spam. The idea started with a suggestion from Gail in our Discord, and Sam, our host, is the perfect one to run it: she already knows who is around, what people are working on, and what they were proud of.
The idea in one line
Every Monday, Sam spots valued members who have gone quiet, drafts a personal check-in for each one that mentions their past wins and something live they would actually care about, and a human on the team gives it one click before anything sends.
1. Who counts as "going quiet"
Churn here is not a number in a dashboard, it is a person we have not heard from. Sam watches for these signals:
- The week-one fade: joined, wrote an intro, then no message and no voice for 7 days.
- The quiet regular: was posting or in voice most weeks, then silent for 14 days.
- The stalled Bronze: earned Bronze, then never came back to build on it.
- The untouched website: got their free E2 site, never logged in or edited it after the first week.
- The missing voice regular: a familiar face in the voice channels who has not shown up in 14 days.
Brand new members get a grace period. Nobody lands on the list for a quiet weekend, and anyone who has said they need a break is left in peace until they come back on their own.
2. The weekly loop
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Monday | Sam builds the Monday Pulse: a short private list for the team of who went quiet, which signal fired, and what they were last proud of. |
| Monday | Sam drafts one personal check-in per person. No copy-paste blasts: each draft names a real past win and one live thing matched to them. |
| Mon to Tue | Dave or the core team approves each draft with one click. Anything that feels off gets edited or dropped. Nothing sends unapproved. |
| Tue to Wed | Approved check-ins go out as a DM from Sam, or a friendly public nudge in chat if the person is around but quiet. |
| Friday | Replies get answered the same day, and anyone who came back gets a warm welcome, not a sales pitch. |
3. What a good check-in looks like
Three parts, every time: personal (a real thing they did here), relevant (something live right now that fits them), and one easy next step (a voice hangout, a bounty, ten minutes on their website). Examples in Sam's voice:
4. The hooks we pull people back with
- Bounties Fresh paid bounties matched to their actual skills, from the Get 100p board.
- Level up A clear next step: finish the intro, earn Bronze, get the first tip.
- Their website Their free site is already built and waiting at e2.life, they just have not visited it lately.
- Voice Happy Phone and voice hangouts: the easiest way back in is a conversation, not a campaign.
- New stuff One genuinely new thing since they left: a course, a game, a feature, a member win worth seeing.
5. The rules (non-negotiable)
- Human approved, always. Sam drafts, a person sends. No auto-DM blasts, ever.
- Two touches, then stop. One check-in and at most one gentle follow-up. Silence is an answer and we respect it.
- No guilt, no fake urgency. We miss people, we do not pressure them. No "your account will be deleted" nonsense, because it will not be.
- Private by default. The quiet list stays with the core team. Nobody gets called out in public for drifting.
- Opt out means opt out. Anyone who says leave me be is off the list permanently, no questions.
6. How we know it is working
- Reply rate on check-ins (target: 4 in 10 reply, because they are personal, not blasts).
- Comebacks: members who post, join voice, or edit their site within 7 days of a check-in.
- Week-one save rate: intros who are still active at day 30.
- Zero spam complaints. If that number ever moves, the program pauses and we rethink.
7. Rollout
| Week | Step |
|---|---|
| 1 | Sam starts tracking the quiet signals and builds the first Monday Pulse for the team to review. |
| 2 | First 10 check-ins go out, hand approved, starting with quiet regulars and stalled Bronzes. |
| 3 | Templates tuned from real replies. Week-one fade checks join the loop. |
| 4 | First review against the numbers above, shared with the team, program scaled up or fixed. |
