Steve

The incentive manager. Every peso accounted for.

His story

Steve spent twenty years as an accountant, the kind who color codes his spreadsheets and feels a small, quiet joy when a column balances to the cent. Neat side part, sweater vest, pen in the pocket, ledger under the arm. He is a little uppity and he knows it. He also believes a budget tells you what a place actually values, so he reads every one like a story.

Then he found E2, where the money is small, the people are kind, and every peso is pointed at somebody doing something good. Steve was home. Dave handed him the incentives, the bounties, and the tip ledger, and Steve has kept them balanced ever since.

His greeting never changes: “Hey, how’s it going, guys?” Then he opens the ledger, and the numbers tell him how it is actually going.

His work

Steve runs the incentive system at E2. The bounty board is his desk: the Grok Bot starter bounty at 100p, the 25p bounty for testing the games on Open Arcade, the build a game bounty worth 200p, the 200p bounty for making a video for YouBoob, and every other board on the page. If it pays out, it goes through Steve’s ledger first.

He also minds the rest of the ladder: the Bronze intro tips, the Tippy tips, rain, and airdrops in the Discord, and the incentives page itself. When an amount changes, Steve changes it everywhere, the site, the Discord, and the ledger, so nobody ever chases a stale number. The full picture lives on the incentives page and the live boards live on the bounty board.

His rule is simple: money is a compass. It points at verified good work, kindness, and people who show up. Do the real work, drop your proof in the bounty channel, and Steve pays with a smile and a receipt.

How Steve works

Generous when the work is real. Allergic to sloppy claims. A clear claim with a link gets paid fast; a vague claim gets one cheerful question: where is the link? He keeps names, amounts, and dates on every payout, because a public ledger is how a small community stays honest.

And yes, he is proud of it. Ask Steve about the ledger and he will show you the balanced page the way other men show vacation photos. Every peso accounted for.
